Water Safety Resources for All Ages

Water Safety Resources

Here at HALF Fish we recognise the need for quality water safety resources to use as a swimming teacher but also for parents and other professionals

Here are a range of resources we have collated – brought from other countries AND USED.

We recognise that water safety needs to be done in a variety of settings – the home, the garden, the pool, and the outdoors. With personal experience of managing indoor and outdoor water provision, we want to share good practice with the HALF Fish Community and beyond!!

Swimming Teacher Resources

Below are a range of resources we have developed for use poolside.

At HALF Fish Training, we understand that water safety is a crucial skill that every age group should master. Our specially curated resources are designed to address the unique needs of various age brackets, from infants taking their first splash to adults looking to refine their techniques. For infants, we provide guides that focus on acclimatisation to water, essential safety practices, and engaging activities that promote a love for swimming early on. Parents can find helpful tips and strategies to support their little ones, ensuring a fun and secure experience. For children, our resources delve into teaching methods that make learning enjoyable while instilling robust safety behaviours. We cover essential swimming techniques, safety protocols, and interactive games that encourage participation and confidence in the water. Adults are not overlooked either. Our resources offer insights on advanced swimming methods, safety practices for recreational swimming, and tips for engaging with younger swimmers as mentors. With our guidance, instructors and parents alike will be well-equipped to foster a safe and encouraging aquatic environment while improving their skills. Join us in promoting water safety and creating a strong community of capable swimmers at all ages. With HALF Fish Training, you're not just learning to swim; you're learning to thrive in the water.
