STA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work
The three-day First Aid at Work course is perfect for those that are required to hold a first aid qualification in the workplace or any other environment. No previous experience is required, so you can begin your first aid training whenever you need to!
The First Aid at Work qualification is the most comprehensive of all our first aid qualifications, and covers a wide range of skills which can be used within a workplace first aid situation, including: assessing the scene, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, heart attacks, choking, head and spinal injuries, fractures, anaphylaxis, plus much more.
STA Level 2 Award in Basic Life Suupport and Sale Use of an Automated External Defibrillator
On the four-hour CPR and AED course you will learn how to assess a first aid situation, use a defibrillator safely and how to correctly deliver cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
This qualification is perfect for anybody working in an environment where there’s a high risk of sudden cardiac arrest, such as sports coaches, carers, or those working with AEDs; it’s also ideal for anyone that already holds a first aid or lifesaving qualification that wants to expand their knowledge.
STA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
If you’re a nursery nurse or childminder where being first aid qualified is a legal requirement of your job, or you’re just a parent or carer who simply wants peace of mind – the one-day Emergency Paediatric First Aid Award qualification is the perfect foundation course for you.
On the course you will learn how to deal with a wide range of first aid situations within an early years setting including: managing an unresponsive casualty, paediatric CPR, choking, shock, bleeding and wounds, along with other minor injuries.
STA Level 2 Award CPR and Anaphylaxis
The four-hour CPR and Anaphylaxis course will teach you how to use an adrenaline auto-injector unit (AAI) such as an EpiPen safely and administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation correctly.
This qualification is particularly useful for anyone who spends a significant amount of time with someone who may suffer from anaphylaxis or anaphylactic shock due to a severe allergy, and covers a range of skills including: scene assessment, CPR, and using current AAIs such as EpiPen , Emerade or Jext.
